1. Wake up early

Practice waking up early like a ritual and you will improve your productivity. You will also have enough time to make a hearty breakfast.

2. Take time on your appearance

Take some time to take care of your appearance. Whatever to increase your self confidence. Pick a coordinated outfit or groom yourself. Great confidence and great self esteem boosts productivity.

3. Make your bed

Making your bed puts you in a more calm and organized mode all day. Plus coming home to a tidy bed after a long day is the best feeling.

4. Use your manners

Use your pleasantries when someone does something kind to you. Even something as simple as opening the door for you, say ‘Thank you”. They did it voluntarily and could have easily let you do it. Be kind.

5. Drink plenty of water

Stay hydrated all day. Drink as much water as you can.

6. Eat fruits and vegetables

Eat plenty of fruits and vegetables. Always choose healthy over junk food. Be good to your body.

7. Listen to cheerful Music

Listen to music that makes you cheerful. If you are sad and you have cheerful and bubbly music, you will feel happier.

8. Compliment others

Compliment other people. Seeing that you’ve made someone happy will also lighten your mood. Compliment a stranger, your friends, classmates and co-workers.

9. Exercise and Stretch

Be active. A routine of jogging around your neighborhood, cycling or taking the dogs for a walk will do. Also ensure to stretch (Yoga or Pilates).

10. Laugh

Have a good laugh. Go out with friends or watch a comedy.

11. Read a book

Spend your spare time reading a book or a journal. This will increase your creativity and is a great way to relax. If you don’t like to read you can still go through a book using apps like Audiobook. You have no excuses.

12. Learn something new everyday

Try and learn something new everyday. If you are reading this, it means you have access to the internet. That means you have access to billions of interesting facts, or ability to learn a new skill.

13. Stop Procrastinating

Procrastination is the thief of time. No matter how unmotivated you are, push yourself to complete a task. You’ll love yourself for actually doing and completing it.

14. Don’t dwell on past mistakes

You are bound to make mistakes. Don’t dwell on past mistakes. Instead use them to learn and improve yourself.

15. Be Optimistic

Always look on the brighter side of life. Be realistically optimistic. If you focus on the negative, you’ll never get things done and you will always be a ‘downer’. Being optimistic will help you be kind to yourself. Your faith is your best Armour.
