Finding inspiration in the quick pace of things can be difficult. If you are looking to get inspired or for a place to immerse yourself in creativity, this article will help you out.
1. STATE OF INSPIRATION
It could be reading books, listening to music, art, nature or documentaries. The feeling of being in a state of inspiration helps you feel inspired in your own field.
Look at websites and use apps and find out what people are doing. For example you can use pinterest, instagram or tumblr when looking for photography inspiration. Listen to podcasts for reviews, entertainment or latest in technology. There is so much you can get from the internet.
3. VISIT PLACES
Take a tour, visit a place that will leave you inspired. It could be taking a nature walk, visiting a museum or people watching. Looking at photos of places like Masai Mara, Santorini or Kyoto inspires me. Which goes to show you can still get inspired virtually.
4. MUTUAL CROWDS
Follow people in your field who you think have perfected their skill and who’s works inspire you . You can go to meetups or find inspiration online. I feel more creative and motivated to do my own thing when I surround myself with people who are inspirational as well.
When someone has passion about their work you can practically feel their enthusiasm. Inspiration is contagious.
5. FAMILY AND FRIENDS
The ones closest to you can inspire you the most. You spend a majority of your time with them and they encircle a great part of you social life if not all. If they believe in you and show their support you will feel inspired. Surround yourself with the people who bring the best in you.
